Harcourts Gold Star have been major sponsor of the Waihi Christmas Parade for many years.

Harcourts leads the parade on the big blue Bedford followed by Christmas floats from community groups, schools, early childhood centres, local businesses, Coastguard, the Waihi Volunteer Fire Service in their long johns squirting water house from the back of their ancient fire engine and finally the man himself; Santa on the Waihi Lions float.
